Founders traces its roots back many decades as a traditional cold box core manufacturing operation serving regional foundries. Like many core shops of that era, the business was built on craftsmanship, reliability, and deep process knowledge in core production. About ten years ago, Founders was purchased by eager new owners and started expanding into shell cores, special surface finishing, and lean manufacturing processes. Now we combine traditional coremaking with 3D printing cores and 3D printed foundry tooling, so we can support everything from high-volume production to rapid new job development. We’re focused on helping foundries move faster and handle more complex work.

With our new 3D printing capabilities we can offer a more cost effective way to print sand cores. We can use new jobs without tooling or scan your current tooling to create a file if you don't have one.
