Hot Box Shell Cores

Founders produces hot box cores using a Shalco U180, giving customers another reliable option for strong, accurate, and repeatable sand cores. The hot box process uses heated tooling to rapidly cure resin-bonded sand, creating cores with excellent strength, dimensional stability, surface detail, and handling durability.

 

Hot box cores are well suited for customers who need consistent production cores, clean geometry, dependable strength, and improved shelf life compared to many other core making methods.
